This lovely spacious one bedroom condo has two newly installed air conditioner and has a very spacious lanai (balcony) that invites the fresh Hawaiian breeze. Just a 10-15 minute stroll is famous Waikiki Beach at this centrally-located place.
Located in the heart of the city, Island Colony offers easy access to all of Waikiki’s must-see locations. Just one block away from International Marketplace, Duke's Marketplace, and various famous boutiques, surf shops, restaurants and shopping centers. Take a short walk further and you’re at soft-sanded Waikiki Beach and Kalakaua Avenue. It’s also nearby Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Center, Honolulu Zoo and more.
The building is surrounded by a lot of convenient stores - There's even one on the 6th floor!

It's a clean, well-renovated property in a great location. It's got pretty much everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including beach items like beach chairs, towels, mats, and umbrella. We also enjoyed the amenities, such as pool, hot tub, gym, and sauna. The host is kind and responsive.
It can sometimes get noisy outside, but that's somewhat expected when you stay in Waikiki.
Property was exactly as pictured. Very clean and had all the basic kitchen and bathroom supplies we needed for our stay. Beach items were a plus. Our host was very responsive and answered any questions I had promptly. The property is in a great location and in walking distance to everything. The only complaint was street noise from the balcony area. Luckily as a light sleeper, I was too tired from enjoying HI all day that it wasn’t too much of a problem to fall asleep.
The condo was in a great location for walking around the city and close to the beach as well. It had a beautiful view and enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning. The condo is brand new and comfortable for two adults and our 7 year old. The water pressure was really great and the air conditioners worked really well. I would suggest just adding some dish towels or a drying rack to make cooking/cleaning a little easier and a couple of hooks for the towels in the bathroom. I would definitely come back here and rent this unit again. Parking is separate pay from the hotel/condo and sometimes was a little annoying to get in and out of but it being covered and connected to the building was a huge plus. Perfect spot for exploring the island by car and Waikiki on foot. Definitely recommend to others!!
We loved our stay at Janet’s place. She recently remodeled her place, so everything is super nice. The place is very spacious. I traveled with my husband and kids. They both loved the bunk bed. The place also include a sofá bed which we didn’t use because of the bunk beds. The kitchen and apartment were pretty equipped with everything you might need. The bathroom was clean and perfect, which is one of the things I focus most on when looking for a vacation rental.
We recently stayed at this property, and I wanted to provide a thorough review since it’s a newer place. I was very impressed with how modern and comfortable the unit was for my family of four. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare light meals and store or heat leftovers, which was a big plus for us.The balcony is a great size and comes equipped with beach chairs, mats, umbrellas, and towels—super convenient for beach days. The location is also fantastic, just one block away from the main street where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and coffee shops.One thing to note: parking is 45 per night and offers in-and-out privileges only if you purchase it from the lobby kiosk, so keep that in mind.The pool and hot tub are both really nice and added to the overall enjoyable experience. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property has pool maintenance that happens every November. The host would have been aware of this when we reserved in October. ( Notices were posted everywhere throughout the resort dated February 2025 indicating the pool closure in November ) We reserved this property primarily for the pool and were disappointed it was not open when we arrived. The host claimed she was just made aware of the pool closure. She declined to offer a refund however VRBO did resolve the situation as the condo was not as advertised. We just wish the host had been more transparent with regards to the pool and working with us.

-2 chaises, tapis et 2 bodyboard disponibles pour la plage.

-Eau filtrée et glace au 6e étage

Négatif:
-Le bruit: les fenêtres à volets dans la chambres des maîtres laissent passer de façon importante le bruit extérieur. Près d'un grand boulevard, bruit dès 6h du matin : construction, camions, et du bruit toute la nuit de la circulation, des motos, des camions, de musique.
-Cuisine non équipée pour recevoir 5-6 personnes (seulement 4 assiettes, bol, verres).
-Pas de draps contour pour le divan lit.
-Il manquait plusieurs éléments importants. L'hôte a été très réactif et a fait livrer une partie du matériel manquant (oreillers pour divan lit, rack pour sécher la vaisselle, linge à vaisselle, 1 oreiller king size dans le lit (seulement des oreilles ultra mince), mais pas complètement (backorder au magasin selon ses informations).
-Pas de salière ni poivrière.
-Odeur de cigarette certaines journées dans la chambre.
-Rideau de douche qui nécessiterait d'etre changé (sale dans le bas)
-Il serait judicieux d'installer des crochets et un rack pour sécher le linge, manque d'installation pour faire sécher le linge.
-Il serait judicieux d'installer des tiroirs/tablette, très peu d'endroit pour défaire les valises.
