"Very convenient location near the Ikebukuro station. The JY line entrance was just a quick walk down the street and up the stairs. There was a Family Mart, Lawson, and 7-11 nearby as well. There was a coffee shop next to Family Mart that opened early that was very pleasant to relax and enjoy coffee and a breakfast pastry before heading out to the rail station. The Hotel room was very spacious for a Tokyo property. Very clean and staff were very friendly. The view from my room allowed me to see the trains and the station. The property has several eating areas, we tried the breakfast buffet which had a lot of selections and was very tasty. We also tried the bar which had a good drink selection and also food options to snack on with your drink. A life saver on property was the washer/dryer! It was humid during our stay and having the option to wash your clothes was very convenient! It allowed me to also bring half the clothes that I would need for the length that we stayed. The tv in room also tracks the timing of the washing machines so you know when they are busy as well as when your clothes are done. Check in was very easy, check out was also very easy. Since there were no additional charges, I just dropped the keycard in the return box and that was all that was needed. One of the key factors for choosing this hotel was also the direct shuttle bus to and from Haneda Airport. I should note that the fire & police station was close so sirens were heard often."

"Staff was incredible and the breakfast buffet was very good and diverse. Good location, but it is a little far from shinjuku station if you are walking. We took the train from the airport and walked with our luggage from shinjuku station. Worth getting a cab from that station, because its nearly a mile walk. Otherwise, there is a lot of restaurants and shops very close to the hotel and plenty to do right near the hotel"

"This hotel is probably slightly more dated or older feeling than it looked in the photos but we loved our experience. It is actually in a very quiet area though there are restaurants and activity within a couple blocks. We loved starting and ending our day in a calm area. The main, bustling part of Shinjuku is like a 10 minute walk from here which is a pro and a con. It was annoying sometimes always having to walk 10 minutes to a subway but it was also nice not being right in the bustle at all times. The breakfast buffet was also great and so we were very glad we included that during the booking process. It had tons of options, if you wanted a more Japanese breakfast you could have it but if you wanted a more western style breakfast you could have that too! Later in our trip we stayed in Asakusa and we definitely preferred this area. Of all the parts of Tokyo we visited, I was glad we stayed here."

"the room was smell and too small for 2 people. I originally booked 3 nights but at last only stayed 2 nights. it's not comfy stay but if you only like the convenience of the neighborhood, then it's ok."
