"Great price at a great location."

"I was skeptical at first until i encountered the excellent service from valet service to the front desk. They were very accommodating and helped ease my concerns. Unfortunately that week the elevator close to the room assigned was out of service and we had to walk from corridor to another going up to the 5th floor and walk down to the 4th floor. It was a good thing we had small bags to lug around. The hallways are clean, there was a musky scent from history as the building was built in 1859. Surprisingly the rooms were clean and the carpet and the room smelled fresh and clean. The Bed - i think is one of the most important thing, was comfortable with medium support , not too soft and not too hard. Overall I slept good. Didnt use any of their amenities, so no comment. But I must say the valet services were good. I also liked that there was an area on the street that you could park for free as you walk around the area. Location is great, too! Will definetly be back."

"Breakfast okay.The first room we got the fridge was dirty and wasn't working.The bedsheets had the same color of red stain of food too.We got a different room as soon as we told the lady in front desk.The beds are so firm felt like I was sleeping on the floor.Plus,they are full size.Online it says queen.Usually,at other hotels I've stayed they are queen.You can hardly fit 2 persons on it.The pool was okay.But,it was dirty like they don't clean it.My husband was taking the leaves out.And cleaned the filter it was full of leaves and other debris.Will have to think about staying at this hotel if we pass through town again."

"The hotel itself is extremely clean and the hotel pool and co located bar was extremely nice and easy to grab a drink and relax next to the pool. The location of this hotel is ideal if your trying to enjoy the river walk as its literally directly out the back door of the hotel. 10/10 would stay again."

"The room was clean, staff was helpful and breakfast was what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel. There's a paid parking lot right next to the hotel. A lot of shady characters around. One guy was passed out right there and there were other homeless and drunk folk loitering around. The hotel itself is at the end of the road and the staff mentioned that even they don't venture out in the other direction. If you're on a budget you could stay here but if you can afford a better place, you can find places to stay in better areas. Proximity to the river walk isn't a perk exclusive to the hotel, the whole town is along the river walk, so just pick any place and you'd be by the river walk. This place is just a block away from Alamo, though and other touristy places though."
