「What a wonderful little find! The cabin was very cozy and comes with many life quality amenities (shower, AC, fridge, etc.) and a great selection of board games. There was a fire pit in front of the cabin with all the needed materials to have a solid fire pit hang out. Will be booking again soon.」

「My husband and I needed up staying here 4 nights and it’s very quiet nobody bothers you. The lady in the front office is understanding and helpful. Our first night I noticed we didn’t have hot water so I went to the office and within the hour we had hot water. The ac was working perfect we slept good at night. Few things it would be nice for the room to have is a hair dryer and an iron but other than that it’s a good place to stay.」

「The Utopia River Retreat was just what we needed after 3 nights camping out in Big Bend. The cabin we stayed in (Kickapoo) was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed (cooking utensils, bath towels, linens). The grounds were peaceful and scenic and had a nice swimming pool and volleyball net as well as riverfront access. 「This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.」
