"The resort is amazing and our customer service representative was moreso! I recommend staying here without reserve! It is a short walk to the lake and the deer will eat straight from your hands. Just an amazing getaway."

"Checking in is a hit or miss depending on when you get there. The rooms are always spacious, clean, and the beds are comfy. Rooms are usually a far walking distance from your parking spot depending on where you are staying at, lots of stairs to go up and down from. The pool is also usually far from the room and parking spot. Sometimes you have to drive to it. Communication with staff was spot on and quick as well! We have stayed here many times throughout the years and will probably continue to do so."

"My recent stay at this location was very satisfying. The gentleman attendee in reception was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, cool and the beds were very comfortable. The weather did not permit us fo enjoy the lake which is walking distance from the hotel. But all in all I had an enjoyable time at Canyon Lake. I would love to go back to enjoy the lake."

"This was one of the best stays we’ve had in years. Immediately after checking in for our one night stay we looked around and requested a second night and the process was seamless. Wendy greeted me in the office and made check-in and the adjustment so simple. We met Vinny (the maintenance/cleaner) and he was the most polite, helpful and attentive hotel worker we have ever had the pleasure of meeting on a trip. The rooms were cozy, super clean, and the access to the river was an added bonus. Overall, this is a new place we will highly recommend to friends and family & be back over and over, and can’t wait to start planning our next trip!"

"We absolutely enjoyed our visit. The house is very well stocked with everything that you would need, and then some. There is food for the deer and birds. There is plenty of wild life that visits the property. We had seven bucks pass through a couple of times. There were three doe and a spike that would hang out for long periods. Got to see a fox and some roadrunners come through. "
