「The property was very clean the hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful with anything you need」

「The Clewiston Inn is a faded elegant place. It became run-down and the new manager doesnt have the budget or talent for good renovation work. Rooms are big and furniture is heavy and old but sorta elegant, like all the fine original woodwork. Crummy little breakfast. And they ignorantly leave the buildings outside floodlights on 24/7. They seem mentally challenged there. But the architecture is charming. I prefer it to square concrete modern hovel hotels.」

「I was traveling alone from Japan. If you don't have a car, you can't go shopping around the hotel. The room faces the outside of the first floor, so there are usually insects in the room. Is this really all there is to breakfast? Such is the content. There was bread and yogurt, a cup of juice, milk, snacks, and scrambled eggs only on Sundays, but there was no ketchup sauce, so it felt like a bare-bones breakfast. 「The landscaping was awful. What little grass existing was in drastic need of cut. The “weekly” guests/tenants were loud and caused apprehension. Very few guests. Television had very limited channels and the remote volume didn’t work. The refrigerator freezer had not been defrosted in years. Nothing fit. I will not go back.」
