"​My experience at the DoubleTree was not good. I checked in with Candice; her customer service on 2/25 was awesome. I had to check out and check back in on 2/26 due to error dates, which was not the hotel's fault.During the checkout/check-in process, I was told I needed to pay an additional $150. I asked the lady (didn't get her name) for what?she stated it was for a room deposit, she explained to me that there is a deposit collected each night you stay at the hotel. I was not happy with the company I work for and said, "Wow, I wasn't aware of this, this is my first and last time staying here."I paid the deposit. The clerk then asked if I wanted room service, jokingly I said well do I have to pay for that as well? Off to work I go. I returned to the hotel later that evening to discover housekeeping had taken the shower curtain, left the dresser drawers pulled out, and threw the garbage bag on top of the garbage. I go to the front desk for help informing me that I have no shower curtain to shower, was told she'll contact housekeeping and the supervisor. I waited for housekeeping to come so I can shower before my next meeting, needless to say I had to leave without showering due to the time. I stop by the front desk again and asked about the shower curtain. When I get back from my meeting, I find the shower curtain in a plastic bag attached to the front door. Yes I had to hang the shower curtain myself. To the young lady who intentionally had housekeeping remove the shower cur "

"The room was very updated and modern-spotless. The staff at the front desk could use some improvement. They forgot to even hand us our key or point out where the room was located. We asked for a 3 am wake-up call which never happened. At check out, the girl seemed totally disinterested. The courtesy van driver at 3:30 am was right on time, friendly, and dropped us off right at our gate, so I would give him 5 stars. Overall, this is a very nice, convenient to "

"Fire alarms went off five separate times during our stay, including three between 11pm-3am. This created an extremely unrestful night, with even a 30-minute request for later checkout denied unless a $40 fee was paid. I expect a FULL refund for this stay."

"The main attraction was supposed to be the water park. This was our only reason we booked this place.The main issue with the entire property is the lack of staff. When we arrived we were informed that the slides were only open 2 hours a day from 2pm-3pm and 4pm-5pm. I spoke with the manager who said that the slides needed to be closed for “maintenance”. We stayed 6 days and never once saw “maintenance” being performed. The lazy river is only 2.5 feet deep. There is another pool which is actually heated and goes as deep as 8 ft. That was the best pool. In a nutshell, your room will not be cleaned unless you request it then night before, and even when you request it still may not get cleaned. Rooms are only cleaned every other day. The pool towels are tiny, I am a size 6 and I was barely able to wrap around my hips. The breakfast was continental so my expectations were already low but it was even worse. The rooms are extremely damp. We often kept door open just to air out. There was air condition but it was not always hot enough to run it just very damp. This place could be better if they had sufficient staff. That is the main issue. I suspected this place would not be up to par when I could never get anyone on the phone weeks prior to my arrival. Do not stay here."

"Rooms are a bit dated for the quality of the resort. The TVs need updating as the remotes do not work very well. And they are not smart TVs to stream apps which is annoying but over all the property is great. Staff is amazing and the pool s and pool bars are fun"
