「Very comfortable, clean and cozy cottage. Close to the beach, beautiful walks. Shop close by, including a yummy fish and chip shop. The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need. Also a lovely garden to sit in / eat in. Will definitely return. Thank you so much」

「The property was immaculate, well equipped with helpful and friendly owners on site. The rear of the property had picnic tables available in a good garden , plus access to a grass field where we and our grand children could play games. The downside of the location was the busy main road in front of the property - a hazard for small children. 「Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. 」

「We stayed at Happy House in Roedean for a few days in mid-November. It was a terrific experience. The house is beautifully placed, about a mile and half away from Brighton Town centre. This gives the home a sense of apart-ness whilst being in easy reach of the town. The house is tastefully decorated and features everything that one would need for an excellent stay, including parking. It also benefits from unspoilt views of the sea.」

「This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep.」

「There are 2 sides to this review. The down sides were unfortunately the property was not clean enough. The remote controls, light switches, kitchen cupboards etc. were very dirty (all the areas where covid would be rife). I had to clean some of these myself. Also there was a cheese wrapper in the bedroom and lego on the dining chair which says to me it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Also the tray in the microwave had crusted food on it so I had to wash that up before use. The blind in the lounge is...

「A cosy cottage with a ‘home from home’ ambience. Caroline & Mark have thought of everything; a well equipped kitchen, lots of reading material relating to the locale, maps, walks and games. We wished we had booked for a longer stay, but intend to return in order to visit the many places of interest that are close by.」
