"Most staff extremely friendly. Unfortunately limited restaurant options as one is close Monday and Tuesday and the other one had external event on Wednesday. "

"The staff was exceptional and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was close to the airport. It seemed to be a very safe location and was pretty quiet for being close to an airport. It had free parking, which was helpful too."
"Honestly I was expecting the worst after checking some pictures and reviews but I was pleasantly surprised once I got there. The room was clean and spacious and there was a small pub right in front of the hotel where you could grab something to eat as well. It's super far from the city centre but I didn't mind catching the bus every day."
"This property is all about the location. If you want a remote feeling near the ocean, it's fantastic for that.
There really isn't anyone on the property to ask questions to (at least that we found). The rooms are not sound proof, so hopefully you're neighbor is quiet, but we could hear furniture being moved and footsteps. There is a small fridge in the room and an electric kettle, but no access to a kitchen or microwave. There's heat, but no A/C (which is normal for Iceland, but the windows barely open, so we had to prop open the door to the room each night to get any decent cooling. A floor fan would have been nice to move air. We had a south facing room, so maybe other rooms were cooler.
It's a unique place to stay and we enjoyed it. We went into town for breakfast and coffee each morning. "
"Hotel was very accommodating. We used the airport shuttle. Interestingly, they do not pick up from the airport, only drive guests to the airport. I would stay there again. "
"Little scary with no staff and being entirely self service, but they answer email questions quickly. Location is spectacular and you’d pay >$500 a night if this was US. Great restaurant on site and within walking distance. Also great you can check out and leave bags for the afternoon while killing time before going to airport. "
"While underwhelming upon first arrival, this hotel more than redeemed itself with friendly staff, convenience, comfort, and breakfast/lunch. The restaurant dinner was fabulous! The breakfast buffet was also good and they offered an early smaller option starting at 4am. The hotel even offered a northern lights “wake up call”, which added to the excitement of our time there. The convenience to the airport and Blue Lagoon wears helpful. "
