「We have stayed at the Historic Cary House for many years while visiting wine country near Placerville. It is very convenient and walkable to Main Street restaurants and to regional wineries. The hotel is clean and quiet. The front desk manager is very helpful.」

「Here with three friends for girls getaway. Love the property, close proximity to town, walkability, parking. Loved the grounds. No full length mirrors in room, nor hangars for clothing. Because part of the building is from the 1800's, the renovations have "piped in air-con" with was through a vent in the window, but it did work.」

「I adored the quirky southwest theme or cow theme. It was fantastic, the towels were absloutly wonderful. I adored the cow chair. I would stay there again but I want that same room」

「The apartment was nice and clean. The living space is quite large. It was great because we were visiting a friend nearby. The neighborhood is lovely, but not close to the wineries if that’s what you’re coming for. 」
