The breakfast in the morning was delicious, with lots to offer- one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel, and offered lots of options. Great downtown location, walking distance to many restaurants, the VanAndel Arena and lots of other cool things to check out. "

"Great Ambiance and architecture. Loved the door be the bathroom and another between the toilet and shower. Plenty of mirrors and lights and actually thought out specially with no wasted space like other old school hotels. Only complaint is that our room was clearly not vacuumed. "

"The only issue was the toilet wasting water and running the whole time. Had to shut the door to avoid listening. Tried to fix it but it was a bad float valve. room 101. The morning I was to leave, I needed a window scraper in the morning, as it had snowed crustily on my rental vehicle. The front desk did not have one but the attendant gladly offered to retrieve one from their car. While they were gone, I discovered the rental had one. The attendant is very thoughtful. I should have food harder!"

"We enjoyed our stay here…it was in a great location…walking distance to many shops & restaurants, plus the path to the state park. Our room was very spacious, with a fireplace and very comfortable bed. It was very quaint & charming and looks recently redecorated and updated. The staff was also very helpful & friendly. We will definitely stay here again!"
