"Excellent location, beautiful view of Zugspitzplatt and located by the gondola to Alpspitze (Wankbahn Bergstation)
Would recommend to add the breakfast, it was delicious.

"Incredibly cute hotel. Short walk to restaurants and the mountains. The best breakfast ever from cheeses to oatmeal and delightful fruit. Wonderful coffee and teas served all day. We loved it here. Our room had the best mountain view. "
"We had a 4 day stay in Garmisch and the accommodation was beautiful. A typical german style apartment. Very clean with everything we needed. There was a wellness suite in the basement with sauna, solarium and various other wellness bits. The rooms were very clean and the bed large and very comfortable. No oven or microwave, but a hob, fridge and TV. The collection of the key for the apartment was easy and just a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Germany. "

Ski on the same slopes that put alpine skiing on the Olympic schedule in 1936 at this Bavarian alpine ski resort on the plateau beneath Germany’s highest mountain.
Enjoy the mountain views and explore Partnach Gorge, a lovely green space in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Make time for the spas and ski slopes in this quaint area.
Nestled in the Bavarian Alps, this charming town offers world-class skiing and a chance to climb Germany's highest peak, Zugspitze. Stroll the frescoed streets, then take the cogwheel train up to Eibsee lake for jaw-dropping mountain views.
The Partnach Gorge hike is a bit overrated. I would recommend a different one, but the mountain coaster is a lot of fun and very inexpensive ~$3.

Wonderful people history food and drink. Prices were very reasonable throughout. Except for the train ride up the alps. I thought 144 euros was a bit excessive

Excellent meals at two walkable restaurants: Braeustueberl and Bungalow 7. Zugspitze was closed from the German side. Went to Tirol in Austria to go up the mountain.

"We loved this property. The staff was helpful. The views were breathtaking. The room and property were charming and cozy.
There is no ac, but we didn’t really need it. There is an elevator.
It is in Partenkirchen, which we just lucked out on being the better choice. It is more classic and quaint.

"The hotel is amazingly full of historical elements. The warm hospitality from the owners and staff was amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable with robes to use in the SPA. Breakfast every morning was an array of all foods to please. I especially enjoyed an evening where we dined on homemade soup Marianne made. We were 100% pleased and would highly recommend for a stay. I know we will be back one day! Denise, Curtis and Darlene"
