There are few more convenient locations on Cape Hatteras than the one enjoyed by this bright and comfortable home in Frisco. This dog-friendly escape is an easy stroll from the soft sands of Frisco Beach, with a waterfront piece of property that provides direct access to a channel off Pamlico Sound for kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding.

This home is ideal for those looking to get around on foot, whether you're walking to the beach down Robin Lane or heading next door to the Frisco Shopping Center and Frisco Sandwich Co. for lunch, drinks, or snacks. As you return home, you'll be greeted by such comforts and conveniences as central air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, and a stacked washer/dryer to refresh your swimsuits and beach towels.

The living space is all on one level, offering an open sitting room with a 42-inch Smart TV and a kitchen with full-size appliances and plentiful cabinet storage. There's indoor seating for four at the collapsible table, as well as a lovely back patio area for picnics and al fresco meals. The village of Hatteras is also just three miles down the road if you're looking to dine out with a sunset view over the sound.

This home is a subunit of Blue Fish. One Fish can be rented separately.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 1.

Was very mislead. Not water front whatsoever, definitely don’t have the “whole house” to yourself as they state. Walk to the beach was 45 minutes. Fairly clean except for mold on the shower curtain. Definitely not worth the money.

Awful odor

The smell of urine in this house was unbearable. The sofa was covered with stains. I couldn't stay in the house so we had to book a nearby motel.

Great spot

This was my first visit home for an extended visit in 20-ish years, It was a great spot. I loved having different people staying upstairs made new friends :-)… Was not on the beach, but was definitely close enough to the beach and the convenience store was right next-door To be honest since I grew up a mile down the road I felt like I had come home. I would definitely stay here again had plenty of room for Company inside and a picnic table outside That was nice to sit at for a few drinks in the evening. Since the top and bottom floor are usually rented two different people take advantage of the chance to make new friends :-)

Deceptive Pricing

Listed at 75 dollars a night, I know there would be some add ons, but adding 60 more dollars a night is silly. The cabinets, counters & appliances are quite old and need updating. The unit while very clean but definitely had a musty odor. The flooring was new LVT so that was nice. All told we only slept there and had breakfast since our in-laws have a house in Frisco.

Nice property, overall good stay

Interior is fairly nice, many new features, comfortable and clean. Very difficult to find at night, small sign by road would be helpful.

One Fish, Two Fish review

We had a great time in Frisco and this property was ok. Upon entry we saw a note left from cleaning crew to please run the dryer that had a comforter. It was a condenser dryer, so we had to empty the full water tank first. Aside from that, everything was ready to use, but I wished they had left us any extra kitchen garbage bags for our week-long stay. I also don't recall the listing saying this property is the bottom floor of a two-story house. Fortunately we only had upstairs neighbors on our final night.

Satisfied but not fully satisfied

We were very satisfied with the home itself but a little sad that the description didn't match our expectations. The home is not water front on the canal like it stated there's homes in the way of the canal and there's no access to it unless you cross the neighbors property. The neighbors were friendly which was a plus! When we went up to Hatteras to verify access and address our concerns she gave us permission to access someone else's property which made us feel a little uneasy since that's not her place and not her property to give us access too! We felt the home was not very fisherman friendly which is one reason we love the OBX is for fishing!

Good stay! Will be back

We would stay here again! It was a quiet getaway after a long day spent at the beach. The mosquitoes were plentiful so we didn't use the outdoor picnic table and although you could see the sound, you would have to walk through other people's yards to access it. We enjoyed having a kitchen (especially during Covid times) and a washer/dryer. We weren't quite sure which unit was ours when we arrived but figured it out. We enjoyed the restaurant 'Tavern on 12' and the American Indian Museum which were both close. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
