Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Everything is very clean and comfy, four kids all had rooms to themselves, and lots of bathrooms makes for a very relaxing vacation for two families. We are already hoping to be back!!

The home is absolutely spectacular, it was everything and more than what was shown in the pictures. It was very clean; the kitchen is very well stocked and the bathroom amenities including the black facial wash clothes didn't go un-noticed. The back deck was lovely for viewing the spectacular views.

Ashes to Ashes

The Gafford House is a wonderful place for a large group vacation. The view is magnificent and we saw several bald eagles and a golden eagle…don’t forget your binoculars. There is a large bird feeder on the deck to enjoy the local birds…so bring some bird seed. The kitchen is equipped with more than you could imagine needing to make a gourmet meal and we made several. There is a Webber BBQ for grilling. Games galore and puzzles. The tub in the master suite is amazing. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for relaxing, enjoyable, memory making vacation.

Wonderful home!

The house was perfect for 6 older adults. Great location. Well equipped kitchen and well equipped house. Beautiful view. Nice wrap around porch. Communication from the company could have been better, but we were finally answered and check-in was easy. Would rent the house again.

what a lovely property! easily slept 7 with lots of space to relax, a delightful tub and a veranda with stunning views of the water and hills. quiet, comfortable, well suited to a larger group. we had a small issue that was quickly, easily and personably resolved before we checked in, the team is great!

Lovely Orcas View Home

Beautiful traditional home for family get-togethers near Eastsound. The furnishings and decor are lovely and make the generously sized rooms feel warm and cozy. For our group of nine, there was plenty of comfortable seating indoors and outside for eating and lounging. The deck is fantastic and we loved the views and just hanging out there. Also, the kids really enjoyed the games. It's a great house for mixed ages. The kitchen is also terrific - spacious and well-provisioned.

Exceeding expectations!

We went to Orcas this February for a weekend of exploring. This home was more than we were expecting. An amazing forested property with an incredible view, a spacious comfortable home with everything you need. We are definitely coming back in the future.

Great house for a group

The house is perfect for a group of four couples celebrating birthday milestones. We ate outside at the table on the deck every night as we watched the sunset over Eastsound. Every morning we gathered for coffee in the kitchen and on the deck enjoying the view. The bedrooms and baths had everything that we needed. It is a quick drive to the market, stores and restaurants in Eastsound, and an easy drive to Moran and Obstruction Pass state parks.

Perfect home in perfect location

We have rented many houses in Orcas and this is definitely the nicest. Spacious for 3-4 couples or a large family group - very well appointed kitchen, amazing wrap around deck and large comfortable bedroom 2 with en suite bathrooms. The Buck mountain neighborhood is a great happy medium between town and Moran St Park. Rent without concern just make sure it’s available when we come back please. 🙂

Even prettier than the pictures

This has the best location with a gorgeous view. The house was extra clean and there were no broken appliances and no problems with water pressure like I read in previous reviews. When we accidentally left something behind, they quickly were able to find it and send it back to us. It was a great experience. If we come back to orcas in the future, we would definitely rent the same place.

Our spring break stay!

This was our families first time coming to the San Juan’s. The house was amazing and had so much space!! Location was PERFECT! We took our little kids to the beach everyday right down the road to look for seashells. Loved how close it was to town and the views of sunset were spectacular! Older furniture on the inside and hard wood floors, but beds were comfortable, a lot of games to play, extra appliances, towels (which you never get enough of when you stay places-this house was stocked up!), large patio, and amazing kitchen made it easy to have multiple people cooking. We just had to watch the stairs for our 2yo since the baby gate wouldn’t fit, but that was it. Would absolutely recommend this place for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We will definitely stay here again

A beautiful home with tons of room and a deck with a view that we didn’t want to leave. This is a great house for having a magical Orcas Island experience. The kitchen is very well stocked. We were able to make some meals and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy.

Even better than pictured. So comfortable and fun! We loved playing the piano, great game selection, and lots of time on the deck listening to birds and watching boats and aircraft travel Eastsound. The sunsets are not to be missed. It was a wonderful stay!
