Service, both on arrival, evening meals and especially at breakfast was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. breakfast was amazing - beautiful food especially granola, wonderful full english and eggs Benedict. Loads of parking on site and great atmosphere. Lovely cared-for garden too. Location perfect. Highly recommend.」

「The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. 「We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. 」
