"Room was spacious, lovely freestanding bath, large shower room, comfy bed but would have liked feather pillow choice. Room clean but dust in places especially breakfast room fireplace and not open on a sunday evening. Had pancakes for breakfast 1st morning, beautiful crepes & hot runny syrup, ordered the 2nd day and got thick undercooked American pancakes with thick syrup, left unimpressed. "

"Awful mattress with a big dip in the middle, noisy if you are facing the railway track, its in the middle of nowhere. "

"Beautiful annex everything you need and extra.lovely and peaceful.Loads of birds deer and a squirrel.if visiting that area again wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again"

"Plenty of onsite parking. Went to check in at the bar lovely warm welcome and we were taken to our room. When we checked in which about 20:55PM we asked what time the restaurant stops serving unfortunately it had already closed. We started unpacking and there was a knock at the door. One of team came to see if we would like soup, sandwiches or fish n chips as they would hate to know we were hungry. That was amazing as we stay away a lot each year and never had such good service. The food was plentiful and delicious. Breakfast was too again great service the team are very courteous, helpful and can’t do enough for you. My only drawback was the bed was uncomfortable so I didn’t get a good sleep. Other thank that a lovely place to stay and dine. "

"Not great for the money, spend another 20 quid and get a better room somewhere else. 1 towel No shampoo or soap and no heat as it was shut off. Breakfast was a few biscuits, a wrapped croissant and a couple of boxes of cereal, meh at best. "

"We truly enjoyed our short stay in Linton. This cottage was wonderful. We were greeted by beautiful flowers in the front! The cottage is nicely appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the selection of teas! We also enjoyed reading the history of the ownership of the cottage, dating back to 1604. We enjoyed the coffee shop next door and The Dog and Duck down the street. The cottage was a perfect place to start our exploration of England. Thanks, Louise, for a lovely stay!"

"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."
