「I stayed in a refurbished room which was decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Check in / out was simple and quick. Sadly though, room was unbelievably hot - even with windows open and the provided fan. No shower - only a bath, which I didn't spot on booking. Made it tricky to wash hair, as bath doesn't have shower attachment or taps! 」

「Very interesting arrangement of rooms, stairs and floors in this house. The room was clean and comfortable, but the shelf/hanging cabinet behind the door was unsteady. The entire place could use a little updating. It is convenient to the rail station, and quiet even though it's on a main road.」

「Had to provide photo ID online before checking in. Had to wait for at least ten minutes before anyone came to reception to check me in. The place felt as if it had been abandoned in the 1980s. Very basic.room. Shower was a dribble, though to be fair, the dribble was hot. Thin though large towels. On a positive note: two packs of custard creams with the teas and coffees. Will not be returning.」

「Super clean and quiet with amazingly polite and helpful staff. Dog friendly- they provided a padded bed and bowls for our whippet. Bit of a walk to Cobham but t there are some forestry walks nearby if you have a dog. Food in restaurant is good.」

「No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

「The room and bathroom were clean and nice but the location was not good and not well marked. There was also no parking other than on the grass in front.」
