Enjoyed a return visit to Wotton House. The staff were superb and helped with a late checkout. The pool and spa was super relaxing and the team were really helpful. The breakfast was particularly good during this visit.

Super location, Stayed in Premier Deluxe room (Juniper) which overlooked courtyard. Great sized room - best feature was the huge walk in bathroom/shower and bath. Spa facilities and gardens superb. Will return again.

Lovely stay. Everyone was very welcoming and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was an adequate size for what we needed and overlooked the gardens. Most areas of the hotel were nicely maintained. We couldn’t fault the bar or restaurant at all. Food was delicious and good service. We will definitely be back!

Superb couple of nights away with young adult children in tow. Hotel and facilities exceeded expectations and dinner was fairly good value. Service by the staff was good throughout although it was noisy at times with some maintenance work. The outdoor bar and restaurant was a good surprise and lovely setting. Gym was ok - plenty of equipment but felt starting to get tired and whilst portable air conditioning was fine in the slightly cooler period we visited, I expect would have been of little effect during the heatwaves. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel. Really nice location and atmosphere. Awesome breakfast too. Lovely place for a relaxing stay. and the reception staff were great, especially the nice lady from Italy. Only downside are the harsh and numerous speed bumps on the long drive :-)

Wonderful building and gardens, with nice and quiet surroundings. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We didn't use the more formal restaurant but the bar provided good dining options. Breakfast was good too and the restaurant looks amazing. A very enjoyable stay, we will definitely come back again if we get the chance

It was a lovely property with an interesting history. We visited in the middle of a heat wave and without any A/C and being unable to open the windows more than a few inches, the rooms were hot! A nice quiet fan was provided but it made the heat slightly less unbearable. Thank goodness for the pool! The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Annalise on reception looked after us from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a little printed history book of the house to keep which was lovely. There was a well thought out scavenger hunt for children with a prize that kept them entertained during the day and a games room in the evening. Our room 303 was lovely with views over the front courtyard, the facilities were excellent and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Special mention to Hayley who looked after us at breakfast and was amazing with my children. The gardens were beautiful and my children loved the chickens and beehives on site including scanning the board to read about Sergio the beekeeper and being able to purchase the honey. We also found the various grottoes magical. We had the most relaxing perfect family stay and will definitely be back. We just wished we had booked an extra night!

The grounds are a treat, accessibility to a lot of the beautiful landscape near by (if driving) is great, bathrooms are good, and the staff... flawless! What wasn't so great is that there's no air con, so if visiting during a heatwave, can be quite a challenge. Also, tried offering a room right above a plant room which had a constant release of a gasoline-smelling substance, which would be toxic to be breathing in, trapped in a room. They did, however accommodate by offering a range of other rooms, with no drama. 3 stars, from a 4.5 due to no air con (and not being pre-warned prior to booking), offering 2 rooms with fuel fumes which is a health hazard... other than that, for the price, good!

The hotel & the grounds are lovely. The rooms aren't fitted with aircon (because it's listed I don't think they're allowed!) so in summer months it's quite warm. The pool is nice enough. We had breakfast included- there was a good selection & it was all hot! We also ate dinner at the hotel- that was delicious! The waitress was really friendly.
