「Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea / coffee (but no biscuits or water), excellent hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Outside seating area by the bar was lovely, restaurant clean. All staff we came across were approachable and professional. Single only downside was that guests slamming doors during the night was very loud. Very much enjoyed our stay.」

「Lovely hotel and pub. Room was impressive, nice and large, and spotlessly clean Super king bed was unexpected. Rarely seen in many hotels so this was a definite delight.
Only downside to the pub as a guest was we were unable to get a nightcap on our return at 11pm. Breakfast very nicely set out. Ingredients fresh and flavoursome. If returning to the are, will definitely stay again. 」

「Pleasantly surprised. Was booked as an overnight pit stop for Thorpe park but actually wished we’d spent more time there. Quirky, cosy and everything you needed like ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee machine etc. even snack in the room (chargeable). Literally 5 mins to Thorpe park 」
「After many years living in central Dorking and now living elsewhere, this is our ‘go to’ hotel when we visit family in the area. Since it’s refurbishment it is a nice place to stay and within easy walking of restaurants and shops on Dorking High Street.
Parking is limited on site, but both M&S and Sainsbury’s have paid car parking and the hours are 8am - 6pm Mon - Sat. We prefer Sainsbury’s - come out of the hotel, turn left and go up the first small road on the left - it is signposted. The...
