"I booked this hotel due to the pictures in line of the walk in showers. There wasn’t one in our room. We had a deep tub that was hard for me to get in/out of as I have bad knees. We requested two beds, but there were none available when we checked in. There were no Kleenex in the room. The location was excellent near shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful."

"Hotel was well located within easy walking distance to nearly everything. Modern and clean. The shower was small and the beds very firm, both things typical of European hotels. The wall between the bedroom and bathroom was frosted glass. There was no window covering for the bathroom window so really couldn’t effectively darken the room for sleep. That’s the only complaint. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Loved this hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with an outstanding view. Also perfect for cocktails. Rooms are alittle small and the shower would be hard to navigate if you mobility issues. Heated floors were a bonus. "

Every single member of the staff was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The location was also fantastic — perfectly situated for exploring Reykjavík while still feeling comfortable and relaxing. "The rooms were clean but the bathroom was small. We didn't add breakfast as the price was too high. Small bar, but no one usually there. They don't clean the room unless you ask. Rooms were sometimes warm so we opened the window. Good location... easy to get everywhere in the center."

"Fosshótel Baron was located at the perfect spot in Reykjavik where multiple establishments were at a walking distance. The hotel also has a parking lot in front of the entrance where guests can park (for a fee) and hotel guests get a small discount. Will stay here again!"
