Staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The hostel is close to everything. My only wish is that someone could turn the big light in the sky off when i went to sleep.

Praises and accolades to the friendly, helpful staff at the student hostel. The facilities were excellent and the location ideal for walking into town. There was free parking in the adjacent lot, which made it a perfect base for the many day trips we took in Iceland. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed at this property 5 times when taking students abroad. It is perfect for travelers who do not need bells and whistles. The kitchens are extremely well accommodated and you are sure to meet interesting people there. The rooms are small and efficient, but with great views, clean air, and powerful showers.

Great option to stay next to the city and the central bus station (BSÍ) for lesy money. Own sink in the room, only toilet and showers are in an extra room. Very nice kitchens with enough space to store food. Everything clean and new.

Very close and walkable to downtown shopping and food options as well as a lovely park. Having the university right there felt very safe, let alone a good chance for us to see some really neat architecture. The inside of the accommodation and the amenities were so beautiful and cozy.

Perfection! Economical, clean, quiet, and short walk (10 min) to BSI bus station to catch Flybus airport shuttle, Golden Circle Tour bus, and transfer to Blue Lagoon. Maybe a 20 min walk to downtown. Reception staff were kind and helpful. It was nice to cook our basic meals in the communal kitchen.

Very nice stay

very accommodating, allowed us to leave our luggage in their storage room before check in. This is student dorms that are available for guests to use in the summer. Nice, clean, quiet and well located by the ponds and within easy walking of Harpa/Old harbor. Bus stop locate within 1 minute walk of front door of the hostel. For those who might have an interest in such things, there is a beautiful old cemetery out past the dorms. If available, I'd stay at the student hostel next time I'm in Reykjavik. Front desk folks were very helpful and friendly.

This is on the uni property and close to BSI for easy access to bus system. Lots to do nearby without being in the tourist area. Quiet and relaxing. Easy walk into town center.

Very well furnished hostel, great style and great location: close to BSI and the city center. Only one thing was a bit disturbing: the room door shakes every time another doors shuts me you can here any door closing. Maybe a door closer for the main doors could help… Thanks a lot!
