"The staff were very good but the room left a lot to be desired. The windows were drafty, the bathroom needed a lot of cosmetic attention. Wallpaper coming off, sealant missing or put on too thick. Towel rail loose on the wall."

"Lovely hotel and staff, breakfast was also really nice. Only issue was noise, could hear next door from quite a distance away. Not sure if they were really noisy or sound proofing wasn’t that good. Either way after speaking with a member of staff stopped at 11pm and got a good Kip after."

"Didn’t have breakfast. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Bed was really comfy with nice pillows and nice clean bedding. Shower was great and the shampoo and shower gel provided was lovely. There wasn’t a seat in front of a mirror though so I had to sit in the middle of the room at the full length mirror. There wasn’t a plug socket near the mirror either to blow dry my hair. It was a bit warm overnight and there was a bit of road noise with the window open, but the curtains made the room lovely and dark. Staff were efficient but not notably friendly. Overall a good, reasonably priced overnight stay with all we needed. We would have liked information about car parking prior to coming as the car park we ended up in after driving around had a max 18 hour stay so we had to get up in the morning and go and put more money on the ticket.
