「What a lovely place to stay! From the beautiful architecture of the house, the antique furnishings, the beautiful gardens, visits from the foxes and deer to great food & conversation. Kimberly was a great host & helpful with local history & suggestions of places to visit. I’d highly recommend.」

「We were not satisfied with the quality of services as in front desk, housekeeping and restaurant . Front Desk- most of the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful with the exception of one lady. I believe her name is Mackenzie. She was not helpful when we reached out to her regards room services Understand the policy is that the room and linen will be cleaned every third day . Our beds were not made on the third date. Restaurant food was below par. This morning my omelette came in burnt.」

「I loved the hotel and the property - so beautiful and layout was attractive and very inviting; loved the night of music under the canopy, fire pit by the lake, etc. Enjoyed being at the public lake and on the paths. Our only downside was the check in that took over an hour - had nothing to do with the hotel or staff - since that was all great! EXPEDIA messed up our reservation even though I had confirmation etc......and hotel did not have our room reserved. It was a nightmare because...

「The best thing about the Gould is its location - within easy walking distance of just about everything there is to see and do in Seneca Falls. The property itself is more than adequate - there's no restaurant or bar there but there are several practically adjacent. Big parking lot - free of charge also a plus.」

「The common areas were clean and well maintained. I had two double queen rooms. One was great; clean. The other was fine except one bed sheet had dog hair and a poop (dog poop?) stain in the middle of the sheet. We had to bring it to the front desk ourselves because they did not have anyone that could come take away the soiled sheets.」

「Rooms can be cleaner. TV should allow guests to “cast” and watch programs from subscriptions other than Netlfex.」

「The pool is currently being repaired. Should be noted on the booking website!! Breakfast - juice machine is not working. So no juice was available. Garbage cans were overflowing in the breakfast area. Carpet needs updating. Bathrooms need updating also.」

「Very well preserved Victorian House. Such a pleasant time we had. My brief remarks to other potential guests are: if you have severe mobility issues, potentially you want to contact the property: the upstairs rooms are accessible through, well, Victorian stairs. My very specific room (suite 2) gets some noise from the road, specially when motorcycles go by. Gets better during the night, but noticeable during the day. Remarks made, I would definitely book again.」

「Was very nice for the price. Did not expect a 5 star hotel at that price point. It was fairly clean, a little dated. Biggest complaint was the phone in our room did not work. Would I stay here again??? Yes」

「We arrive to find the room have the sheets changed and then it just seemed housekeeping ended cleaning. There was urine on the rim of the toilet, hair in the shower and food on the carpet. Cleaning and maintenance seems to be the main problem. It’s a shame; Staff was delightful. You could’ve been so much better. I actually canceled our next best Western stay at my expense because I couldn’t stomach the idea of having it happen again.」
