「I rented 4 rooms for me and my family. 1 Room had Drugs hidden in the mattress that stunk up the room and the AC system was broken. The Pool was also closed and the breakfast was very not great. Sausages were over cooked and there was a long line to make a waffle because they only had 1 waffle iron. 「100+ heat outside…. Portable AC unit for the room, vented with duct tape out the window… let’s just say the room was not maintaining a reasonable temperature. It was set at 62 and it was still 80 in the room according to the thermostat. After over 2 hours on the phone with Expedia and multiple trips to the front desk, we FINALLY got a full refund and a $25 key cash credit or what ever it’s called for another booking through Expedia. 「We expected a lower class hotel for the price we paid, but the frustration we encountered was beyond what we could have guessed. One of the rooms we booked reeked so strongly of weed that we could not stay in the room longer than a few moments. The manager insisted the odor was simply the smell of new carpet, and steadfastly refused to acknowledge the stench nor refund anything. We definitely won’t return.」
