"The front desk clerk was so nice and helpful when we checked in. She explained things well. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and supplied with everything you need. We have stayed here several times and like the service and the location is close enough to downtown Deadwood that you can walk to other places."

"Clean room. Clean place. Great fireplace. Dislike was you had to pay to have breakfast! For staying there and the cost of the rooms it should of been free!"

"Outstanding place to stay. Cozy, comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe. The perfect base camp for local adventuring. Staff is helpful and there’s a guidebook for the area in the room. Did I mention clean? The room, the grounds, even the parking lot; everything is well maintained and tidy. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure. Everything was as good or better than expected. And it’s pretty walkable to anything in town, in my opinion. This will be my first choice next time I’m in or near Deadwood."

"We really liked the location, staff, and Breakfast, But I am wondering why they never received my first payment to reserve the room when I went online through Expedia to make my reservation? When we checked out the front desk told us they never received a payment of any kind down that I was charged and paid for? We ended up paying the same total amount of the entire stay? Please refund me back $159.89 I have the paperwork I received from the day I reserved? Where do I go to get my overpayment back? Linda"

"It was a clean space but its old and small room. Its a historic hotel with casino downstairs. Just like you would expect of an old historic casino. Right downtown. Walking distance to shopping and food. We had a great time."
