"A well maintained, 75 year old American retro hotel run by very kind folks at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable and I had an assigned parking spot. Hot coffee in the lobby all day was excellent after long hikes in October. Heater in the room was a tad loud but worked great. Excellent location for visiting the nearby parks and monuments and plenty of restaurants / shops are walkable. "The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. Could it be updated? Sure but there was nothing wrong with it (and it was actually quite large and there was a fridge and microwave). Breakfast was satisfactory (ask for the breakfast sandwiches you can microwave). The location is excellent and if your room is on the back side it's very quiet. Would stay here again!"
