「When I turned on the iron to iron clothes the whole room went dark. Electricity stopped working. Just not to impressed.」

「Great long term place to stay」

「Pool was shut down. Breakfast selection was limited.」

「Only a few of the jets in the hot tub work. The showers in our room kept fluctuating from cold to hot, hard to clean up with scalding hot water to freezing!」

「Nice staff and nice clean rooms. Owner is working on the pool areas and almost everything is new. It's going to be even better in the coming months.」

「Would stay there again for sure. Everything was clean. We got a view of the lake which was lovely and it was quiet. Well maintained.」

「The location is excellent & it was super quiet! The AC is a wall unit so it is also super quiet! The bed was comfy & for a no frills motel & the least expensive in Grand Rapids, I would stay there again for sure. They do accept dogs for an extra $25. Mohamed has an ice maker in the lobby & the refrigerator gets super cold.」

「someone was on the phone talking really loud at midnight. the front door wasnt locked at all throughout the night. the sink was clogged in the bathroom. 」

「This hotel had a water main break 5 months ago and the hotel is a disaster. There is no carpet on the first floor, the pool and amenities don’t work and they can only serve a minimal breakfast. Simple things like an ice machine which has nothing to do with the water main break didn’t work. I’m amazed this hotel is allowed to be open given the conditions. Our room was clean so at least that felt safe.」

「Perfect getaway to avoid real life and we both left satisfied」

「Bath tub was bad. Dark brown towels and wash cloths to hide dirt. Rust stains, bad water temperature control. I had to stand outside in 20F weather and call to "check in". 」

「This place was an outstanding stay. The bed was super comfortable with soft quality sheets and the bathtub was nice and clean with hot water. It's easy to switch the temperatures in the unit. They go above and beyond with making guest feel welcome and adding unique items that you don't usually find such as seasoning's and every cooking item you need. I would sum it up and say it was clean in a safe area. The host was a 5 star as well being so accommodating, flexible and friendly.」

「It had a nice welcoming area with the fireplace, the pool looks filthy there was dirt on our sheets and on our blanket, the pool so they could only have so many people in and the same people are allowed in all night so no one else was basically allowed to use the pool or hot tub area, I repeatedly asked for an invoice to be emailed to me and I had to call three times to get it.」

「What a lovely property! Everything was as described in the listing, or better. Clean, and fully equipped with supplies (linens, kitchenware, firewood); there were even muffins & home-grown honey waiting us at check-in!」

「Host was very responsive and his place felt like home. Very cozy and clean. All the amenities we needed for our stay. Popcorn, coffee and towels, hair dryer. Big TVs and a nice stereo with music playing when we arrived. Thank you Ryan for your hospitality. We would stay there again if passing through. 」
