Cozy Cabin Surrounded by Lake Views + Sauna

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #3, the largest cabin with lake views on three sides.

Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests.

Cabin 3 sits just steps from the lake and was built on the footprint of the former resort owners' residence. We've outfitted it with all of the modern comforts while also honoring our 1950's cabin history with natural pine finishes, vintage finds, and hints of Northern MN's Scandinavian heritage. Enjoy a remote-working getaway or disconnect from technology and connect with one another, the woods, and the water.

The cabin is perched up above the shoreline, making for great views of the lake. The high ceilings and large windows let in lots of natural light. The primary bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two queens. There is a private attached deck with a propane grill and dining table.

All outdoor areas are shared and there are several fire pits to choose from. The sandy beach has a gradual entry that's great for kids and is also the perfect spot to take in the Northern Lights. There is a dock off the Point for fishing, swimming, and taking in the lake breezes. Enjoy a book or watching the loons from an Adirondack.

The cedar barrel sauna along the waterfront seats 6 and firewood is available on-site for $5/bundle. It's shared among all guests, but a simple sign up sheet lets you reserve your time for a private sauna.
