What a great place to stay! The view from the motel balcony was great but it was phenomenal from the dock! The lake was quiet and beautiful! Definitely want to return with family and friends for a summer vacation!

We enjoyed our stay overall! It was such a nice, peaceful getaway from the Saint Cloud area—exactly what we were looking for. The kids had a great time playing with other guests, and we really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit our first night making s’mores. There were just a few things we noticed that could make the experience even better. The satellite TV wasn’t working during our stay since it couldn’t detect the “cabin4” Wi-Fi extender. The Wi-Fi itself was also a bit spotty, especially with multiple devices connected, so we ended up using our Verizon data to stream. The water pressure in the kitchen sink was pretty low and made it take a while to fill pots or bowls. We also noticed the table was a little wobbly—even a light touch would make it move. Other than those small things, we had a really nice stay and appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Thanks so much for the hospitality—we’d definitely consider coming back!

For an overnight stay while traveling, it was great. Check in after 6 pm was a phone call. A nice clean room with all the amenities, including a fireplace..went out on deck and looked at lake from a short distance. Hill City is a nice, little small town...

The property was not kept up. We checked in and looked at our room and decided to get in the car and drive an hour further west to find a nicer place to stay. For us it just was not a very nice place. The man checking us in was nice.

I loved the room with high ceiling, beautiful fireplace, great scenery from the deck, and thd carpet was a great touch to make it cozy. Check in/out was very easy. The two things i wasnt thrilled about was the stains on the tub and that the staff weren't available in person. Very comfortable stay and would highly recommend!!
