"The location was gorgeous--up a steep but sturdy LONG staircase from the lake. We went mostly to be on the water. My husband rented a boat from a nearby resort and we were allowed to tie it up to our dock and keep it for the days we were there. NOTE: The dock system is NOT complete and tying up there was NOT easy, but we figured out a way. We rented a canoe from the same resort and also kept it there--there was a nice (very) little sandy beach to beach it on. Good point for all water...

"We had a long bed and canoe so parked next to the motel because parking was tight. There were plenty of vehicles with can use on top in the parking lot that fit. There is another vehicle with a boat attached parked next to ours. The location is convenient across from the Circle K and on Sheridan Street in Ely. This is a deal if you want to walk downtown for a meal. The room was super cute, clean, up-to-date, and comfortable. I would stay here again. The only negative was just that there was no closet so limited storage space. There was a dresser that was built into the wall that would be handy if we were staying more than one night. I enjoyed talking to the owner who had a lot of helpful tips."
