"Room was clean and the staff were great. The rooftop restaurant has great views, even if a little expensive (however kudos to them for not raising their prices dramatically in recent years). And the location is terrific, close to everything and certainly walkable to Canal Park and beyond.
I was told by staff the hot tub was basically shot with no plans to repair it, so then that leaves a slightly chilly pool. The weight room was basic but useful. There isn’t enough space for more than three or four people bumping into each other. The TV in the room we were in was ancient. It barely worked, but okay not the reason I come to Duluth and prob better without it.
The price and central location are the reason to stay here, not the luxury or comfort, especially as Duluth can be quite pricey in Canal Park and east Duluth."
