「Spacious room which was recently refurbished and very comfortable. Food was excellent with service in the evening for dinner very good, but breakfast service poor. Great location by the sea. Health club needs refurbishment in particular the changing rooms.」

「Quite disappointed with our stay at the Strand. Outlets didn’t work, shower would leak and cover the whole bathroom floor, bed and pillows were quite uncomfy. There is barely anybody ever at the front desk, the front door was locked on multiple occasions and we had to wait around for somebody to come open it. We understand it’s a heritage building and we’re looking forward to the quirks that came with that but for the price paid - we were not happy.」

「Our stay was in an annex building - too far from the main area - smelled of mold and musty. Room had everything you needed. They could not get the NFL game on in the bar - they didn’t carry the channel. Overall for the price not worth they stay. Is centrally located but so are many other hotels」
