「Lots of good, more recent replenishments, like the bathroom, the dining area, and the great swimming pool, hot tub, saunas. Nice well-tended gardens. Great service. But a lot of windows painted immovably shut. And the food was a big let-down. We arrived on Sunday for Sunday dinner at 8, couldn't eat our mains. Breakfasts had the feel of having sat a long time after cooking, bacon burnt to a crisp on 2 out of 4 breakfasts.」

「Nice overnight stay in Inverness at the Kingsmill Hotel. As with all hotels in this City , its overpriced during the tourist season but reasonable off season. Hotel is located in a quiet area . Traditional building with some of the rooms dated but comfortable and clean. Staff were all very friendly. Restaurant food was pricey but bar meals reasonable if you could get a seat. Breakfast first class. Nice pool and spa facilities which is included in the price of your stay . Would certainly...

「We were desperate for accommodation in Inverness and couldn't find anything available so we ended up in Strathpeffer. The hotel is old, reasonably clean, fairly quiet and comfortable enough. The breakfast was great, service was faultless. We also had dinner there one night and it was excellent. Was it worth £90 per night???」

「Hotel was better than expected after reading the reviews. Previously stayed at the hotel many years ago with previous owners & it has so many facilities for kids it has the potential to be a great hotel (like it used to) Biggest let down was the heat of the room. 「Resort itself is very nice, nice easy walk to the Main Street. Staff were excellent, very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices. We stayed for 2 nights and there were only a couple of things that were a bit poor. 1. The fire alarm went off 3 times during our short stay, including once early morning. People lining the corridors not sure if it was a drill, or a fault. No explanation given. 2. Our room (2234) was a “Deluxe” room, but it did appear a bit run down....
