「Marie is a fabulous hostess! She was waiting for us outside in the back yard. She even helped unload and carry in the luggage. The room had an ensuite. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It is right off the road and so easy to find! The kitchen was well equipped. 」

「It was great. So much better than expected. Beware only three people can cook at a time as there is only three cookers. That said the kitchen is a very good size and generally well equipped. Good sized dinning room. Overall the centre is well equipped, serviced and friendly helpfull staff. Add to boot about a ten minute walk to the town for supplies etc.」

「I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy. There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. 」

「Stayed here for a night in Glencoe before heading south...the check in was excellent and informative, the room was cozy and located right across from the showers, bathrooms were clean. Appreciated the wifi and location very much.」

「Parking was cash only but luckily had that on us but finding the parking was difficult due to construction. Then the small hike to the hostel from the temporary parking was a bit much with bags and over a fence. Service was nice, beds were not very comfortable 」

「The owners are something else, they really invest in the guests, planning together what to do, to cook, to attend. Its a cozy place where you can walk barefooted and strike a good conversation with everyone on site. You feel welcomed. Try their homemade jam. Yummy.」

「This was my first time staying in a hostel. It was very well set up. Easy to check in. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. Our room was a bit noisy due to being beside the bathroom but they have rules to keep things quiet during night time hours. We just needed an area to sleep so we did not make use of the other parts of the facility but it looked very well maintained and the shared kitchen area looked very well organized. 「I booked a female dorm bed and it was coed, told that that allowed for more people to stay. Not on the website, not great, and one guy kept me awake all night with his snoring. The host there wasn't very friendly, either. Thankfully, the guests there were fun.」
