Oban Youth Hostel is fabulous

Oban Youth Hostel is five star for location. Amazing views over the sea and a short walk into town. The shared dorms are attractive clean and quiet. Great breakfast buffet and huge kitchen and dining room for self caterers. Staff really friendly and cheerful. Would love to go back

We stayed in a really spacious double room in the lodge with ensuite shower. It was the best shower I've ever used!! Perfect temp, power and the best shelf for soap ever!.The lodge had it's own kitchen/ lounge which had everything you could need and was warm and relaxing. Great view from the front. Highly recommend!

Ideal for a short stay

Stopped here for one night before getting an early ferry out of Oban. Perfectly adequate room with plenty of space for two people and a dog. A broken boiler meant the shower in our room was not working, but this was well communicated to us prior to our stay, offered use of the shared bathrooms in the building instead and given generous refund for the inconvenice. Clean premises, fast WiFi and friendly staff.

Staff are brilliant.

Accommodation and staff were excellent. Breakfast was okay, abit burnt particularly the bacon, difficult to eat. On site free parking was appreciated. In this price bracket £68.00 for room plus £9.50 for breakfast, you would expect everything to be right.
