「The main door into the apartments was broken, so it couldn’t be locked. This meant that anyone could come into the foyer and stairwell from off the street. This made us feel uncomfortable! The carpet in the foyer and stairwells was filthy, stained and in one part like a dog had scratched to threadbare. The internal walls were not sound proof so you could hear conversations along with other activities from the room next door. One of our party of 5 had a room that was musty from a rock wall...

「Location was excellent for walking, site seeing, pubs & restaurants, etc. It was clean & secure. Bed was comfy. Appeared as advertised. Available umbrella was a nice touch. Pantry was very modestly stocked with tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar & tin foil & that was all i.e. no oil/cooking spray, etc. Hosts were not terribly responsive. We did not get access instructions until 5:00 pm which was an hour after agreed upon check in time & after 2 contact attempts from us made through the app....

「My family and I stayed here and we thoroughly liked it. Excellent location right off the Grieg street walking bridge. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. The check in process with the owners was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend. 」

「The unit is on the bottom floor looking into the car park. While the windows do provide a bright area, there’s minimal privacy when blinds are open. The entry smelled of cigarette smoke and was dank/damp feeling. Older building but well kept. The check in instructions were unclear. Would’ve been much easier to send information and instructions via the app (Expedia) rather than sending a link with the house manual, which didn’t work multiple times.
