Very walkable to a relaxing stroll along the Ness and to central shopping area. Restaurant options within 10 min walk are good. We were worried about the parking situation but that worked ok as the street was quiet enough to unload our bags in front of the unit before heading to the nearby permit parking area.

It was so nice to stay in a “hotel” that felt like a beautiful home. Our only regret is that we were on day tours during our stay and weren’t able to enjoy it more. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Being able to do laundry was a real bonus. Views are great, pub just up the road with good food. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect sweet little spot

The place was lovely and spacious. So much better than staying at a hotel. The owner was wonderful. When we got there, the front door wasn’t wanting to lock and she ran right over with some tools and got it fixed for us. It was a great location for grabbing a quick McDonald’s breakfast before heading out on our tours. If you have time, visit the distillery that is right across the street. And walk down to the Ness River island. It’s not a bad walk and the island is beautiful - the owner recommended it to us when she came to fix the lock. There’s only two things I would mention. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs for the master bedroom. It faces the street and in the wee early morning beginning around 4:00/4:30 people will ride their noisy motorcycles by. Also, if you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, walk lightly as the floors squeak. But these are not issues that would stop me from staying again. We loved it. So much better than a crowded, noisy hotel.

Very comfortable and clean two bed apartment with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Excellent location near many delicious restaurants and fun pubs. Lovely to walk along the river. We wish we had spent more than just one day in this location. Easy drive to Culloden and the henge. Right before our trip we received an email that our credit card did not go through and we still owed payment and a link was sent. Expedia advises not to reply to these, and I had trouble getting email confirmation on the legitimacy of the request from the owner even though I emailed the owner through Expedia and through the lodging's own website. In the end we took a chance and paid through the link as we did not want to lose our reservation on this special place. We really enjoyed the place and should we go back will definitely stay there again!
