「Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay, perhaps the portion could have been a bit bigger. Inside the pub looking tired, needs repainting and furniture updating. 」

「レイクの観光前に泊まりました。建物は値段相応ですが、スタッフの対応が高級ホテルのような感じで満足しました。 郊外の村にあるホテルで、周辺の綺麗な川沿いの散歩をお勧めします。ローカル駅、趣ある橋、昔のお城のような邸宅が穴場でした。」

「部屋も浴室も広くて、朝食がついてリーズナブルな価格で泊まれるのは信じがたい。価格と部屋のバランスで言えば、十分に満足です。」

「アメニティはシャンプー・コンディショナー・ボディーソープはあります。 ドライヤーも温風のみながらあります。 タオルはフェイスタオルとバスタオルが一枚ずつ。 Wi-Fiはチェックイン時にパスワードをいただけます。 朝食は別料金で、コンチネンタルスタイル（6ポンド、子どもは半額）とイングリッシュブレックファースト（8ポンド、同上）とあります。食べてから支払うスタイルとのことです（私は食べていませんが）。 部屋によるのかと思いますが、天井が低くなっている箇所があるので、頭上注意です。 荷物預けは確か無料でできたと思います。 荷物室は共用ですが、フロントの目の前にあり、鍵がついていますので、悪いことはそうそうできない仕様だと思います。」

「It is a boutique hotel with only a limited number of rooms but we were made very welcome. The room and public areas were clean and well decorated and it was just very short walk to the beach. The gardens were beautiful.」

「とにかくすばらしいの一言。建物の外観や内装、庭はもちろん、典型的なイングランドの川（エデン川）、橋、教会の尖塔のおりなす感動的な風景を堪能できます。このような風景を眺めながら味わう朝食も質量ともに言うことなし。自家製の蜂蜜やママレードなども出して頂けます。長年イギリス中を旅していますが、これほどのホテルにはあまり出会ったことがありません。できれば自分だけの隠れ家にしておきたかったところですが、Valさん（ご主人）は「是非日本の方にももっといらして頂きたい！」とのことだったので投稿しました。 カーライル中心街から7kmと少し離れますが、バスが走っています。車（レンタカー等）をお持ちであればベストです。SainsburyやTescoなど主なスーパーへも簡単に車で買い出しに行けます。また、Lake Districtへの拠点としても好適地です。それから、Valさんにお願いしたところ部屋に冷蔵庫まで入れて頂けました。これはすごく助かりました！」

「We totally loved our stay, which was made even more lovely by just how friendly and helpful the staff were, in particular Peter who served us our very tasty breakfast, and Caroline who served us drinks and made us feel so welcomed. Elle who was on Reception was also just amazing and the hospitality here was some of the best we have experienced. The view of the River Nith and walks were just breathtaking and so peaceful. Although our room was on the small side we don't ever spend much time except...

「Convenient, picturesque and clean property just off the motorway with excellent staff service. Really warm welcome from check-in onwards which set the tone for the stay. All staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend a stay here. 」

Great selection of food on menu which tasted fabulous. The bar is a lovely vibrant place with great selection of drinks. 「エア駅から徒歩１０分以内の好立地にあり、ホテルのインテリアやお部屋がとてもセンスがよく、可愛らしい雰囲気でした。とても好みだったので、お部屋の写真を沢山撮ってしまいました。お庭もとても可愛かったです。 部屋はとても清潔でした。 Cathcartというお部屋に泊まりましたが、こちらの部屋だけバスルームが部屋の中になく、部屋の外にあるのだけが少々面倒でした。　ですが、プライベートバスルームなので他に誰も使いません。　　朝食もとても豪華で美味しかったです。　朝食のお部屋もとても可愛かったです。　エアに行く際はまた宿泊したいです。」
