Delightful small hotel with good food and helpful staff. The only thing I didn't like was that smoking is still allowed in the UK on outdoor bar patios.

We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite . The WiFi was good. We were pleased with our stay which represented good value.

Friendly staff but a bit slapdash at breakfast, rooms comfortable but south facing rooms need a portable aircon unit when warmer outside as the room was stiflingly hot despite window open and fan on. Excellent food which we could not fault for two nights dinner.

Hotel had recently been updated so everything was new and clean. We had breakfast included in our room rate and this was excellent every day from the Full Scottish breakfast to the omelettes and poached eggs on toast. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Parking is also free across the road in the car park.
