「We stayed 3 nights in mid April. First, do not let the rainy season deter you. The rains did come in the late afternoons and the trekking was a little muddy, but I think it is likely the best time to gorilla trek and/or look for the golden monkeys. 「フロンともコンシェルジュもスタッフに一度伝えても実行せず、何回も連絡して初めて動くということが何度もありました。 キンシャサで一番高い宿泊代を取る以上きっちりとしたサービスを提供してもらえれば嬉しい。 エレベーターの前にいるセキュリティは宿泊者でない人間を平気で上にあげるのでセキュリティの意味がない。 少なくとも宿泊名簿に載っていない宿泊関係者は全員来客のカードを持たせてほしい。 見た目で判断し、スーツを着ていれば素通りさせている。 アフリカではセキュリティに一番高いお金を払って宿泊しているので、セキュリティ対策をしっかりしていないならこのホテルに泊まる意味が薄れてしまう。」

「The Serena Hotel in Lake Kivu was lovely. We had a great room with a lake view. Since we traveled with a guide we did not use any of the extra guest services but we did take a boat ride out to the Nyamyumbo hot springs which was quite an experience. The opposite of a hotel spa! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel!」

「Exceedingly lovely staff. So many nice surprises like burning fireplaces in the rooms with hot water bottles in the beds, foot rubs and shoe cleanings after our hike. Mattresses were amazing. Food was quite good, the included breakfast is expansive. Very beautiful grounds. Live dancing one night. Lovely dog Sparky. A few words of caution: most of our showers did not have hot water. Drinks and dinner were pretty pricey, so would consider at least bringing your own bottled water. They didn’t have...

「価格は手頃、清潔で部屋は広く居心地はよい。ロビーでビールや水も飲めます。治安のいい立地です。一方、日本人が入れるのうなレストランは10分くらいは歩かないと出現しません。また、滞在時間を数時間延長するだけでも1泊分とるとのことで変わったホテルです。フロントは英語話せますが接客は横柄、威張ってます。」

「There was no hot water the entire week even though we discussed making it available multiple times. There was no mention in the description that this was a cold water only unit. The owners were very accommodating for checkin, my business associate arrived in the middle of the night due to flight problems. The hot water was the issue with the rental and if it had been made known upfront, then it would've been a decision we could've made.」
