「I had work at town」

「My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful.」

「If you plan to go to this area frankly there is no better alternative. From the charming rooms and staff to the excellent meals, Babcock is a great place to stay.」

「This is the best place hands down for a quiet relaxing getaway」

「Such a kind, thoughtful host. Unit has everything you need to feel at home. Nice little room for a child conveniently located next to queen bed location. Porch is great for morning tea & devotional. Wonderfully quiet, safe neighborhood. We hope to return again.」

「I highly recommend Still Waters. It's a beautiful home, comfortable, and in a very serene setting. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind and enjoy nature this is the place for you. Renee was also a great host and communicated quickly when questions arose」

「Wonderful secluded cabin! Great location near state park and national park. Very convenient to Appomattox and Farmville, about 20 minutes either direction for groceries and restaurants. Nice clean hot tub. Great for relaxing and staring up at the night sky, which is full of stars!Kitchen is well appointed, with a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, plenty of pots/pans utensils. There is a dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer. The full bathroom has a walk in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body...

「This is one of the best places we have stayed using Vrbo. It’s clean, has a welcoming host, and is in a beautiful area.」

「Nice spacious area」

「This is such a unique and beautiful property! You will enjoy the majestic views with your morning coffee.! The sunsets are spectacular! Close to Lynchburg, Bedford, historic sites in Appomattox and lots of great hikes! Perfect for an event or wedding as well! We just stayed for graduation weekend but now we know of a beautiful event location for the future! Beds are so comfortable! Kitchen well equipped! Host is so responsive and kind! 10/10 recommend!」

「Felt like our home away from home. Hosts responded quickly. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for the 8 adults in our group. 」

「Check in was easy. Owner was very nice and friendly. I had a traffic accident while in town. Owner was very helpful. All in all, a very pleasant experience. 」

「Shower faucet, toilet flush, bathroom faucet all broken. Bath room not clean」

「We had an outstanding time once again. The house is lovely and spacious and everything we could want. The pool and porch were a central part of our stay. We only had one small problem all week with the plumbing, but after a call to the host, it was quickly resolved. The kids and the adults went to the church parking lot to ride bikes then to sheets to pick up something for lunch. By the time they got home everything was working fine and I was relaxing in the pool. The internet was much better...

「Our second time at the property and we love the house. Many little things (like a quick greeting card), that make for a lovely stay. It was a very hot week and we thought there might be an issue with the A/C, but our hosts were quick to respond even at 11:00pm. Everything turned out great. Highly recommend!」

「The home was lovely. It was a HUGE space! I wish there were outside seating areas. We also had to trouble shoot the TV a bit, it seemed the house didn't have steaming accounts. But we weren't there to watch TV so really it was fine. Otherwise it was a perfect stay!」
