Horrible nasty house

Believe all the reviews this house had potential but its horrible I’m contacting Vrbo with pictures it’s own by Indian so if u know how their stores n hotels are just imagine a house dirty I had to clean before I put my stuff in the house

Misleading

6 hours ago Honestly, I’m never one to complain, but this listing is very disappointing & misleading. My kids have bed bug bites. There was no cutlery or bowls for food. There was no gate key to get in, we had to manually open the gate on the other side. Grounds are unkept and things are falling apart. For this much I expected a little more. I went to bake cookies (on a pan I purchased to bake them) & there was leftover food in the stove that looked like it had been in there for months. I booked this as a getaway for my staff and am so embarrassed. The ceiling fans have mounds of dust as well as the air vents. My other guest was bitten by a scorpion in his sleep. I’m not really sure how to proceed other than to file a complaint with vrbo. There was just trash everywhere. There were electrical wires exposed everywhere and brown windows.

Family staycation in Texas

This property was o-k.. We were a little disappointed at first.. due to the lack of upkeep & overall appearance.. however, we had paid, & the main goal was to enjoy each other's company.. once everyone started to arrive, we became more comfortable.. Now, the pool was the main reason we decided to rent this property. And it wasn't clean, at all.. contacted the property Manger and he had someone out the next morning.. so thankful for that, otherwise it would have been a disaster

A COMPLETE RIP OFF

THIS PROPERTY IS IN HORRIBLE SHAPE, THE OVERALL UP KEEP IS TERRIBLE. MY FAMILY WAS UNABLE TO USE THE YARD, POOL, AND HOT TUBS BOTH WAS BROKEN. THE GRILLS BOTH WAS DIRTY AND WE WAS AFRAID TO EVEN TRY TO USE. I CAN NOT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD EVEN HAVE THIS PROPERTY ON THEIR WEBSITE TO RENT OUT. THE OWNER IS AWARE BUT IS JUST PROVIDING FALSE PICTURES AND TAKING INDIVIDUALS HARD EARN MONEY. RIP OFF, BEWARE!

Dirty and Broken - No House Keys

Do not believe the photos with this home. It feels like an abandoned frat house. The floors, counters, carpets are filthy. This gated home has 2 broken gates and NO HOUSE KEYS! Lots of broken glass around the pool. Lots of overflowing garbage in the garage, no trash bins. The outdoor kitchen - broken sink, filthy grill, broken tiles. No pool umbrellas, grass knee high over the entire property. In bedroom #2 the toilet doesn't flush properly, consequently the tub drain backed up with black water. Broken out window panes in master bedroom defeat the AC, temp was never lower than 76 degrees. Shower door in Master bath doesn't close so water is everywhere. Not enough batteries for the remotes, had to keep swapping them to turn on ceiling fans, not all of them worked. Lots of very large screen TVs but almost all were damaged in some way. No knives in the kitchen. I can go on and on. This home needs a serious amount of work. The price is simply not worth the hassle. I will be contacting VRBO directly to address my issues.

Very dirty, unkept and not up to daft standards

You can tell that at one time this house was beautiful, it’s large and has a lot of space. The location is awesome and the property is beautiful if well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable but… The truth is, the property has not been maintained, the pool was dirty the bathtubs had Grimmy sledge in the bottom of them. There was still trash in the trash bin from the previous people. The garage and several closets still had people stuff in it like someone had lived there. The washer and dryer have been stuffed to the rim with linens, I guess from the previous guest. The very worst part was there was a makeshift hot tub in an adjacent room to the master with travertine very slick tile next to French doors. One of my coworkers being wet slipped and fell and put her hand through the glass. We ended up in the ER until all hours of the morning. she ended up getting 30 stitches and might need surgery. There were no slip resistant mats or any rugs in the bathrooms at all. I reached out to the owner of the house to let him know the safety issue and that we had someone injured on their property with no avail. They have still not returned the message. I called VRBO and they said it’s the owners responsibility. Do not spend your money at this place!

So spacious and comfortable

We rented this property for a dance convention and had multiple families bunk up. The place was so nice with plenty of comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with wonderful hot water, and common areas to house the group! There were plenty of towels and special amenities when we arrived. I only wish the backyard pool was clean for our arrival, as it was late March and the days were pretty warm 84 degrees.I would highly recommend this property as it is a short drive from shopping centers and landmarks.

Large family

Sam’s house was perfect for our family to stay in while in town for a wedding. Spacious property in a country setting with nice seating on the large front porch overlooking the pond and also poolside in the back, comfortable beds, plenty of bedding and towels. We would definitely go back when it’s warm enough to swim in the pool.

A birthday party to remember!!

This house is so beautiful. I had my birthday gathering there with my family and friends. The pics on VRBO needs to show the big kitchen and the spiral stairs, so beautiful.. I saw the reviews a couple of peps left made me worry because I did not see them until I paid for the rental. I immediately called Sam, he said that I could go see it before my date of arrival. I was so happy of what I saw, and realized that reviews are good, just check into it their concerns. We had plenty of space, everyone had a wonderful time.. I will be back..

Pictures are old

Pictures did not match the house when we arrived! Property was not cleaned at all , our main attraction to this house was the pool and the grill both where very dirty pool water was green when we arrived. Tried sending the owner an email but he did not respond. Floors where in very bad condition could not let the kids run around in the living room but owner tried covering up with lots of little carpets. House was humid/wet when we arrived. Smelled horrible we even found some type of poop inside the house on a carpet. Not even the hot tub worked. Not worth what we paid for at all. House was overall very pretty but high maintenance is needed before guests come in. DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE BRINGING INFANTS OR SMALL CHILDREN!!

Horrible! Do NOT waste your money!

The property is poorly maintained. Nothing that required batteries worked. The house is dirty and falling apart. The furniture is beyond dated and not well maintained. You are unable to regulate your room temperature. There was not enough hot water for 8 people. You had to wait hours to shower. The floors are literally falling apart. Covered by dusty old moldy carpets. Horrible experience. Owner was not cooperative. None of the doors locked. Missing windows... had card board to cover exposed window.

Nice, but Dated

This house has so much potential. The wood floors in the living room are all popped up and the decor is odd. There is so much room and all 14 of us had plenty of space! The master shower looks like a spaceship and is awkward to use. The WiFi wouldn’t work according to the check-in instructions, but could tell the router had just been changed because the housekeeper left the empty box out. The house needs regular maintenance.
