「The creek out back was amazing. The state had a burn ban in affect due to SEVERE drought so we couldn't utilize the fire pit areas. For being late in season there were not many options for dining. I just wish we could have spent more time at the lodge chillin outside, the running water from the creek and river were amazing. The new owners seem to be making upgrades, very friendly people. 」

「Location was great and Mike was a fantastic host. Our breakfast was yummy and he gave us quite a few choices too! Only comments I would like to put in are 1.narrow staircase to get upstairs so a little hard for us with the luggage. 2. Shared bathroom」

「It’s the perfect little motel. I have 2 suggestions: 1) a doormat inside the entry door ( because today was heavy rain) 2) A streetlight at either driveway entrance. It was very dark and with the rain visibility was awful. Fortunately the traffic was light. 」

「This motel embraces its old-fashion style which ends up seeming fun instead of out-dated. We had tea and played games before turning in. The breakfast was good, plenty of healthy options like fruit and yogurt. The location was great for our morning hike and then we stopped by the attached gift shop which is enormous and full of lovely choices.」

「very nice lodge. the owner live there and make sure everything run smoothly. Simple breakfast but enough for a very good start of the day. love the share Livingroom with huge fireplace and everyone super friendly. many board game to finish the evening. Only 10mn drive to Killington resort main parking K1 and plenty of restaurant around. 」
