「Martha and Marty were the ultimate hosts, so warm and welcoming. The Cottage is pristine and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful week, relaxing on the porch watching Snowy Egrets and Laughing Gulls. We highly recommend this property! Thank you again, Martha and Marty! Sara and Peter」

「Wonderful location to the water front. House was clean and accommodating. Seeing the original key to the house added to the houses nostalgia. Great location to visit Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout. The owners were out of town during our visit but still made sure we enjoyed some shrimp. Shout out to Dace for helping with our questions and his food recommendations while his parents were out of town. Hope to return next year.」

「The property is so cool. It is a historic site and has been brought back to reveal has gorgeous it is. It has all the character with modern touches you could want. The Blue Room is very comfortable with enough room for two to spend a cozy weekend. The location is perfect for Beaufort - it's right by the main drag, you can easily walk to shopping, dining, the ferries. And the hosts are awesome! 」

「Perfect place to stay for business. Easy access to both Morehead City, Cherry Point and New Bern. Staff was amazing especially Hebah. 」

「Room was very clean, staff was very friendly. I stayed overnight with my dog and it went very well. The TV channels were really good. The last couple hotels I stayed at had crappy TV so that was nice. Only downside was the massive amount of fire ants in the grassy/dog walking area.」

「Nice property, it’s being updated but has a very good set up. My only issues with this property was there was no Wi-Fi, no outlet in my bathroom, the bathroom door needs painting and more towels and washcloths need to be put in there. It is very close to beach, walking distance. We enjoyed this property!」

「Our room smelled like stale cigarettes - the smell lingered on our clothes and it just wasn't pleasant. The towels also smelled and were damp. 」
