イギリスの郊外インとして素敵だが、宴会が入るとうるさい

宿泊客の静寂をたもつ必要あり。草原に孤立したホテル・インなので、宴会時は逃げるところがない。宿泊客の静かな滞在に配慮する必要がある。部屋の一部が老朽化している印象。

Great nice sleep in middle of the forest!

A nice hotel with unbeatable price to be that close toGatwick airport but you feel you are in the middle of the countryside!

Requires an upgrade but very friendly staff

Needs a good refurbishment. Everything is old and requires an upgrade.

Last minute booking

We made a late decision to stay near Gatwick the night before our flight and the Regency was available. We had a warm welcome and our room was clean and comfortable.

The property is set in lovely gardens, with lots of character. Our rooms were excellent value for money, and nice and clean. The bathroom was ample size with a shower. Breakfast was good traditional food, and very enjoyable, fresh strawberries were a lovely addition. Most importantly was the efforts and dedication from Kim who was so welcoming and pleasant after our long journey. She looked after us the whole time and is a treasure to the hotel, an amazing lady, who has made us decide to book again for our next visit in the near future. The only negative is the hotel is a little tired and needs a little improvement. better lighting at the rear is also required. But all in all, we all enjoyed our stay. Mal Bickley,

Lovely staff but hotel wasnt that great

Really lovely staff. So friendly and helpful. However, the bed wasn't comfortable as could feel all the springs. I could hear people upstairs and walking past the room. Walls must be quite thin. Luckily I am a good sleeper :) Rooms had marks/dents along the walls where the beds were. Not the best stay but was OK.

Our flight had been cancelled and so we arrived both late and exhausted. We received a warm welcome and were made to feel at home. We were able to get a filling meal from the restaurant and the next day we were allowed to stay until the time of our rescheduled flight. The grounds of this hotel are quite beautiful and a million miles away from the breeze block grey of the airport.

The place is tired and shabby and in desperate need of financial input, however the staff are brilliant and very friendly. Also just looking aftrer teh grounds would help - get rid of the old audi parked round the back

Friendly, quiet and clean

Property was renovating dining room but I had a good meal the night I was eating in. Clean and friendly throughout and as it is more of a character inn than a modern building, there was some noise at night until midnight. Then the only noise was (had I heard it) - wildlife. I do not sleep well anywhere but I slept here well. I was warned the wifi may not work - but it was fine for emails and Amazon shopping! Plenty of hot water and plenty of clean towels

Good value

Decoration and condition of public areas is a little "tired" but room (No. 11) was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff were very helpful and friendly. A good value place to stay in this expensive area. I would happily stay again.
