THE HOTEL OF OUR DREAMS! This place was everything! I don't know where to begin. It is ON the beach, and since it is not in the Hotel Zone, you basically have the beach to yourself. This is a beach club, so people do come for the day, but not once did it get overcrowded. The hospitality here is above and beyond- the staff is really something to highlight at this hotel. They were so accommodating and helped with all our questions and needs. The food!! Breakfast was included and couldn't have been more delicious. The vibes are impeccable. The room we stayed in was dreamy. We went to sleep and woke up to the sound of the ocean and gentle songs played in the breakfast area. Plenty of places to lounge and soak up the sun, or not. The only things I could complain about are that our little pool didn't get any sun, so it was pretty chilly, and the sink didn't have enough space for my products. The room would have had plenty of space if we hadn't packed so much. This was truly the best place we have ever stayed and are already planning our next trip back. We will come back again and again. Uber does work here but it can be a little tricky. Renting a car may be useful if you are looking to explore a lot on your trip because this place is out of the way of most things, which is EXACTLY why we came. The reality is, everything you could need or want is here, so you don't have to leave at all if you don't want.10/10. Would recommend. No notes.

The servers and staff were lovely. Very good. This is an issue about the internal workings and management. We booked for 2 weeks. By day 1 we had a bathroom/kitchenette sink leak all over… plumber came. The leak continued. We had no hot water… none. Zilch zero. Many times over we talked to management about this issue. Much on what’s app. It is in writing for most…. Some were conversations. Day 9 arrives and we had been told it would be fixed or they were preparing a new room/casita for us 4-5 times. That never happened…. So by day 9, the wheels fell off. They wouldn’t give a refund or a discount. I finally lost my temper. And just wanted to be let go with a refund for the remaining days. We paid retail for a space and got camping site level services. The food was decent for a couple days for breakfast. Then it was cold after that. Breakfast is included in the price. Dinner was just not good. At all. Literally a cold burger and fries. Not like it sat in the window to be delivered but like it was out of the fridge. Bad. Servers and cleaners were fantastic so while the rest is negative. I cannot say anything but positive things about the staff. Except mgmt for correcting our lack of water supply and water drainage. That’s major. Save your money and time and go to Isla mujeres.

Clean, spacious rooms. The staff were so helpful with planning a romantic dinner after our engagement! Quiet area away from the large resorts. The food was amazing. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Cute , simple and relaxing but very isolated with no entertainment or musicians .Videos and advertising is deceiving, making it look far newer, boho vibe and fun. Huge shocks from the refrigerator in our panoramic room every time I touched it was scary and they told me to just wear shoes. They fixed everything we had concerns with and upgraded our room to a swimup cabana but unfortunately very very limited hot water for showers, almost non existent for 9 days. They promised safe gluten free for my celiac disease and I did not get sick , thankful for that but options were very very limited and portions very small even for the regular menu. No other options close by so you have to eat there, so selection of food is needed . For peak season it was very quiet and not at capacity . If you are here for more than a night , make sure you bring lots of snacks . If you just want quiet then this is for you.Staff were friendly and kind and we used our phones for translation because many have very limited english. If they want to promote that they can accommodate gluten free safe for Celiac then they still need to improve the options and the flavor because for us we spend 6 months researching before we book a vacation , pay more and stress incredibly because its a luxury for me to just be able to eat safely and well. They have great potential and with a few improvements they could have an entire category of travelers come to them. It was an ok 9 days there but we would not return .

Staff and location are great, clean rooms, decent internet, beautiful view of the beach/ocean. Conveniently close enough to Cancun but far enough away from the big resorts. Hot water was temperamental but there in the end for long enough. Great stay, would go again!

Punta Blanca is such a beautiful hidden spot. It felt peaceful, safe, and special from the moment I arrived. The cabanas/bungalows are really cute and cozy, and waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning was everything. The staff was so kind and helpful. I felt really taken care of. If you’re looking for something quiet, relaxing, and a little off the beaten path, I highly recommend it. I left feeling refreshed and so grateful I found this place.

I recently spent a few days at Punta Blanca Beachfront Boutique Hotel, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. Ana, the receptionist who welcomed me, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She immediately made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. This place is truly a little paradise on earth. The atmosphere is peaceful, calm, and intimate—nothing like the crowded, hectic feeling of big all-inclusive resorts. It’s quiet, relaxing, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect getaway. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff was genuinely warm and attentive, always greeting me with kindness. Emilio was also wonderful—kind and welcoming. Everything about my stay was amazing: the setting, the comfort, the food, and the service. I loved every moment and can’t wait to return. A huge thank you to the entire team for making my experience truly unforgettable!

Our time at Punta Blanca was exquisite. The location is simply magical with the constant crashing of waves in the background and private feel of the cabaña’s making it the perfect romantic getaway. We woke up everyday with a view of the ocean from our 2nd story bedroom, and took a short 20 foot walk to where the phenomenal complimentary breakfast was served. This is something to look forward to every morning, in our week stay we enjoyed everything fish offered from the authentic menu. Our rooms were tended to every day and were very clean and welcoming. The only cons would be that the warm water was sporadic and we could never find the right temperature before the hot water ran out. Also make sure to contact them before you arrive to have a stress free transport experience from the airport. We attempted to call from the airport to the front desk and didn’t get much help and subsequently payed $100 to a transport service to get to the resort, (50 min drive). All things considered we throughly enjoyed the peaceful and communal atmosphere that was present. Staff were remarkable and were treated like family throughout our stay. Complements to Emilio and Jenni for top notch service.

Nous avions le chalet rustique zéro. La vue était magnifique et le chalet offrait une habitation non-traditionnelle que nous avons grandement apprécié. Par contre, un glissement de sable formant un énorme trou devant le balcon, nous a empêché de profiter des lieux pendant 4 heures puisque des employés sont venus pour corriger la situation. Aucune compensation n'a été offerte. Les serveurs étaient très gentils, mais la responsable n'avait aucun sens du service à la clientèle. Elle ne savait répondre qu'une seule chose: I'm so sorry. Nous ne pouvions jamais commander de la nourriture ou du vin sans nous faire dire qu'il n'y avait plus de ceci ou de cela. Peut-être qu'ils manquaient de tout parce qu'ils accueillaient trop de gens pour la journée seulement. Comme ils sont situés à l'écart, il devenait difficile d'aller ailleurs pour les repas. Nous y étions pour célébrer Noël qui est passé sous silence. En résumé, un endroit beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'ils ont à offrir.

Great place overall, waiters are really nice and hepful, the view is beautiful. The only down is because portion size of meals are very small and you don't have many place around it can be difficult to manage.

We were SUPER excited for this stay - we had added an extra day to our trip and I chose this hotel for our last night as a special treat. The good points are that the grounds are gorgeous. It is clean. Servers are sweet - one even tried to refuse a tip. The bad is that it truly is in the middle of nowhere, and the dirt road is full of deep holes. Several taxis refused to take us there. The taxi the hotel called to take us to the airport cost $100+ USD with tip and there were NO other options. Same is true of dining. Like others said, the drinks and food were bad and once you’re there, you’ve stuck. No other options. We stayed on a day when it was overcast. We weren’t able to take showers because we had no hot water. They rely on solar and I guess it wasn’t strong enough. It was a blustery cold day for CUN, and a hot shower is a hotel *necessity.* The thing we liked least were our interactions with the front desk. At checkin, after a stressful and expensive cab ride (I was just relieved he didn’t abandon us or get stuck - and I’ve been on some rough roads) we were told we needed to pay $60+ MXN in fees/night and there was a mandatory credit card hold of $2000 MXN PER person PER night! (They waived the mandatory hold after we got upset). At checkout, they “suggested” $400 MXN for “tips for people who work behind the scenes.” Overall, bad business. Not classy. I love freely tipping well. But it was a bait trap. You’re stuck there and they know it. It felt predatory.
