"Staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Maria and Daniel at reception, who made us feel very welcomed. We were offered a free 90 minute spa and enjoyed it. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel costing 20 euros, cheaper than what we were quoted by Uber. We managed to book the hotel shuttle back to the airport, costing 5 euros per person. Would have been better if the shuttle ran for a longer period of time instead of the very restricted time, and if the driver would help with the luggage. "

"When you book with this site the website does not share your email or WhatsApp number so the hotel cannot contact you directly with check-in details. This is frustrating and made checking in more difficult. However, it was much better to deal with a person at the hotel rather than a virtual check-in, which we have had in the past which has terribly wrong. Hotels.com needs to adjust its communication policies."

The staff were friendly and due to the stormy weather we also ate at the hotel in the evening which was good, as was the breakfast. We toured the lakes and stayed here as well as Como itself - we preferred this - a short walk over the bridge to the nearest town, with plenty of bars and restaurants. The morning after the storm brought out the kite surfers and yachts - great spectacle from our balcony. Parking is a proper underground car park adjoining the hotel - ideal if there is a a storm. Can't fault the stay"
