In the district of Campiglia (700 m) 4 km from the centre of Colle di Val d'Elsa, 13 km from the centre of San Gimignano, outside the resort, 33 km from the centre of Siena. For shared use: property 3 ha, garden with plants and trees, orchard, swimming pool (16 x 6 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 25.Apr. - 17.Oct.) with salt-electrolysis pool-cleaning system. Shower/WC in the pool area, outdoor shower, terrace, barbecue. In the house: washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). 400 m long motor access (via unmade road). Parking on the premises.   • Cascate del Diborrato - Parco fluviale dell'Elsa Inside the residential area of Colle Val d'Elsa is a historic and natural landscape of enormous value thanks to the Elsa River which crosses the Val d'Elsa creating a unique territory. The river creates enchanting corners for hiking and observing: the engineering works for gathering water, the artifical canal system for carrying the water to the city, the caves. A particularly suggestive point is the Diborrato water falls, a 15m jump which is more than 10m deep, a sort of small lake where the locals used to go to cool off. Other places not to miss are the Grotta dell'Orso, the Conchina, the Masso Bianco, the Nicchia and the Spianata dei Falchi, each with its own particularities. This natural richness has been recognized with the institution of a protected area in the River Park of the Upper Val d'Elsa which includes the path of the river from the city of Colle Val d'Elsa which stretches from Ponte Santa Giulia to Ponte di Spugna and includes the Caldane, thermal springs which were known to the Etruscans and Romans.

Schöne Unterkunft im Herzen der Toskana

Die Unterkunft liegt ein Stück außerhalb von Colle di Val d'Elsa in mitten von Olivenbäumen. Besonders aufgrund der Tatsache, dass die Unterkunft ein wenig außerhalb liegt, lässt es sich dort prima in Ruhe am Pool entspannen. Die Lage ist perfekt für Tagesausflüge nach Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra und viele andere schöne Städte der Toskana. Die Vermieter wohnen ebenfalls bei der Unterkunft, was sich nicht als Nachteil, sondern in unserem Fall als großen Vorteil erwiesen hat. Angiolo (der Vermieter) ist sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit, wenn es um Tipps zum Essen gehen oder Vorschläge für Ausflüge geht. Man fühlt sich hier richtig willkommen! Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Relaxing stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at the farm of the family. We where warmly welcomed. The apartment was comfortable and the family did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. Colle Val D'Elsa is a perfect central location to visit the surrounding areas in Tuscany. We have been to Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, Chianti, Montepulciano, Montalcino and more.

Excelente lugar,tanto por el entorno y la casa como por sus anfitriones

Lugar tranquilo y rodeado de olivos,una verdadera gozada para los sentidos. Desde el primer momento nos hemos sentido como en casa, ya que sus anfitriones nos recibieron encantados.Conversadores,amables y dispuestos para cualquier cosa que necesites saber. La casa es acogedora,muy típica de la zona de la toscana, la cama cómoda, la cocina completa con todo los enseres,tiene chimenea y t.v,por poner una pega la ducha es pequeña y no tiene lavadora,pero por lo demás esta muy bien. Sin duda es un lugar para repetir, descansar y conocer la zona de la toscana.
