"I stayed at this lovely hotel in late March 2026 for two days as a single female traveler and I felt safe, secure, happy, I rested very well. "Fantastic location in the heart of the walled city with easy walkable access to most of the local attractions. It was an oasis hidden away in the mad rush of an old city - the hotel tuk tuk was always ready to pick you up and drop you off from the narrow street confines of the haveli to the buzzing bazaars of Jaipur. You walk in and to your absolute delight, you are transported to centuries old traditions and atmosphere of a central courtyard surrounded by living quarters. The 15-room property has impeccable accommodations with luxuries of Kama products and fine bedding. The food was top notch - a vegetarians paradise with multiple options to choose from. Would def recommend the Rajasthani thali if you are ready to explore the traditional food! The mukhwaas drink prepared by the bartender was amazing and so was the live music played by Sharukh and Ishaan. Being a classical music aficionado myself, I was able to connect to the artists and the music instantly. If the weather wasn’t playing hide and seek, I would have definitely spent more time on the luxurious rooftop where you can order drinks from the bar as well as get food sent up from the kitchen. The Chandani area was a cute surprise to explore the moonlight. Finally, the staff went over and beyond - they displayed first class hospitality. I was traveling with my elderly dad and they were highly accommodative with an early check in and a late check out to give him time to relax and recuperate. "

"There were several major issues during our stay at this hotel. Food hygiene: Throughout our three-day stay, the breakfast area was overrun with flies. They were landing on food en mass and staying there, especially on the uncovered breads and pastries. After observing for nearly an hour, one staff member told another to “zap” the flies. No effort was made to replace or cover the contaminated food. This was extremely unhygienic and unappetizing. Food quality: We had dinner at the hotel on our first night. Compared to other places like the Taj and Oberoi, the food here was mediocre, especially considering the comparable price. I would strongly recommend exploring other dining options. Lack of flexibility and poor customer service: When our flights were cancelled due to the war, every other hotel we had booked in India — including Taj and Oberoi — offered refunds without issue. This hotel did not. They ignored our initial requests, then dragged out the process, wasting hours of our time. It became clear that they prioritized money over basic fairness or guest care. Because of this, we had to scramble to rebook flights so we wouldn’t lose the money spent on this reservation. I had assumed a smaller boutique hotel might be more understanding in difficult circumstances, but that was not the case here. Facilities: The swimming pool is extremely shallow — too shallow for our six-year-old to enjoy. Additionally, the pool area was full of mosquitos. Overall, I would stay away."

""A humble budget hotel" describes it more honestly than the hotel describes itself online. It isn't a "heritage" hotel, that's just the parent company name. The room was clean enough and the shower was good. Only two pillows for a kingsize bed. The Wi-Fi was non-existent and un-secured. The restaurant is small, dark, and windowless. The food is okay. They say they have a 24 hr. airport shuttle but two online booking requests went unanswered. Good location for bazaars, City Palace. The staff were pleasant."

"Short review: I booked in for one night and stayed for six. Longer review: The location is fabulous if you want be in the heart of the city. Yes, it can be a touch noisy during the day but don’t let that put you off. The room was perfectly fine for my needs (safe, secure, comfortable bed, clean sheets and a really good shower). The rooftop restaurant is the star of the show; having a meal or just something to drink up there is a great experience. The food is excellent*. There is a bar and this is a mixed blessing. On the plus side, drinks here are much cheaper than on the roof (possibly because they don’t attract the same level of Govt taxes as drinks sold in a restaurant?). On the downside, it’s dark (windowless) and is effectively a men-only place (women are allowed in, of course, but I doubt few would feel comfortable in there). If there is one thing that can better the rooftop it’s the staff. Everyone is really friendly, and the standards of service are far higher than I was probably expecting from a place at this level of budget. In summary, I heartily recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s very good value for money. *the toast is overpriced though!"

"Rooms were extremely clean and had a very comfortable, enormous bed with crisp white sheets. Great hot shower and large bathroom with hairdryer. Seperate seating area off the bedroom too. Traditional indian style breakfast on their rooftop dining area. We also had the thali dinner there twice which was exrremely tasty. The host family are very friendly and welcoming and we would definately stay again. The rooms are basic but exceptional value- the outside of the building is stunning. It's located in the heart of the Pink City so walkable to the City Palace area and Hawa Mahal. A real emersion into the old Jaipur!"
