「Staff were friendly and helpful. Obviously very old motel that had few updates and paint covered up structural and cosmetic problems. Our room smelled awful. Sleep surface linens and bath towels were clean, however bed skirt had dust/… and had not been washed. Mattress was very very hard and uncomfortable. Very obvious the supporting hotel chain was just looking for profit, the staff had little to work with. You had to pay for WiFi, no public television stations, early or late check in/out cost...

「Clean, cozy, and charming. The breakfast is delicious and all went smoothly.」

「East Rock was a nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Everything was great, and I enjoyed my stay.」

「Fabulous inn… wonderful room, but the advertised fireplace was not available for use」

「Old and dirty. Very dirty. Outlets by the bed covered. Dirty bed and awful, old smell in the room. Stains on sheets, no mattress cover. Gross.」

「The New England fall colors were fantastic, but everything else about this hotel stops being impressive at the door - inside the property is not well maintained. Walls are thin, power sockets don’t work well, everything is due for renovation. Considering the $400+ per night rate, it is not worth it at all. I know the location commends premium, but you are much better off driving 30 - 40 minutes to stay at a much better and more affordable place nearby.」

「This property does not have televisions in the room!」

「Super cute home, very clean with everything you need. Property was manicured and very well kept. Comfortable beds and easy instructions for check in and checkout.」

「Room needed updating, there was paint splatters on the floors and bed is old and dipping on both sides」
